Timber Creek Reservoir Upper Campground is a small primitive campground in the Lemhi Range of Salmon-Challis National Forest, west of Leadore, Idaho. It offers a remote mountain camping experience near Timber Creek Reservoir with opportunities for fishing and backcountry exploration. Access is via forest roads from Leadore: west on Lee Creek Road 0.9 miles, left on FSR 105 for 7.5 miles, right on FSR 172 for 1 mile, left fork 0.5 miles to campground. It is seasonal, typically open late spring through early fall depending on snow and road conditions. Additional Info: Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings at sites, and vault toilets. No water, showers, dump station, electric, water, or sewer hookups.
