This three sided Adirondack Shelter near Rumney NH is a first come first served facility that is free of charge. The 2.3 mile trail leading to the shelter is a snowmobile trail but skiers, snowshoers and winer hikers are all welcome. Additional Info: Three-sided Adirondack shelter sleeps 8, located steps from the second of three scenic trailside ponds. Features a fire ring. No toilet or designated tent sites. Potable water not available; treat water from nearby ponds. Accessible year-round via 2.3-mile trail from Three Ponds Trailhead off Stinson Lake Road.
