Thousand Trails Peace River RV & Camping Resort is a 75-acre RV campground nestled among the woods on the outskirts of Wauchula, Florida. The Peace River runs a half mile around the border of the preserve, offering canoeing, kayaking, fishing, fossil hunting in the river, nature trails and wildlife. The resort features spacious full hookup and partial hookup RV sites with paved patios, a heated swimming pool and spa, pickleball courts, recreation hall, game room, and a fenced dog park. Full hookup sites with sewer connections operate on a daily lottery system at 2 PM, while remaining sites offer water and electric only with pump-out service available. The property includes walking trails, equipment rental for fossil hunting, and is located approximately 45 minutes to an hour from Gulf Coast beaches.
