Thomas Mountain Yellow Post 5 is one of the primitive Yellow Post campsites in San Bernardino National Forest. It offers free, first-come first-served tent and car camping with a metal fire ring. No water, picnic tables, restrooms, or trash service available; pack in/pack out required. Maximum 8 persons and 2 vehicles per site. Accessed via unpaved forest road 6S13 (Thomas Mountain Road), suitable for standard vehicles but not trailers or large RVs. 14-day camping limit. Campfire permit required.
