About this site
Free dispersed camping area in San Bernardino National Forest at 5,791 feet elevation. Five primitive camping spots accessed via unpaved forest road 1N12 (high-clearance or 4WD vehicles recommended). Each site accommodates up to 8 people and 2 vehicles, with a metal fire ring marking the area. No water, no picnic tables, no restrooms, and no trash containers—campers must bring their own water and pack out all trash. 14-day camping limit. First-come, first-served. Campfire permits required; fires may not be allowed during certain times of year. Contact Mill Creek Ranger Station (909-382-2882, closed Tues/Wed) for current fire restrictions and road conditions.
