The Bank Campground

The Bank Campground overlooks Shelf Road and is located approximately 15 miles north of Cañon City, Colorado at an elevation of 6890 feet. This BLM campground offers 33 sites including 31 individual sites and 2 group sites, with 4 vault toilets. Open year-round and popular for rock climbing. The access road is steep and rough; not recommended for large RVs. Individual sites limited to 2 vehicles and 8 people; group sites to 4 vehicles and 20 people. Additional Info: Managed by BLM Royal Gorge Field Office. A Loop first-come first-served; B Loop reservable via Recreation.gov. No drinking water available.
