About this site

Dispersed campsites at Texas Pond are first come first served, with no camp host and limited amenities. Facilities include one picnic table and a fire pit along the shore, adjacent to a vaulted toilet, and one dispersed camp site nestled in the trees with fire pit and picnic table. Bring drinking water and pack out rubbish. There is a flat area along the shore for launching a small boat or canoe, though paddling involves submerged logs and stumps. Additional Info: Former guard station site for the Suiattle-Finney Forest District, now part of Darrington Ranger District. Accessible via Forest Road #29.
