Temperance River Campground
About this site
The Temperance River Campground is a small (9 sites) campground easily reached from the Sawbill Trail (Cook County 2). It provides pine-shaded campsites nestled in a bend of the Temperance River and offers access to trout fishing in the Temperance and mountain biking a large network of Forest Service roads. These sites are all available as first come/ first served. Most sites can accommodate a small RV (less than 24 feet). There are no electrical hookups in this campground. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site with electric hook-up: $20 per night Additional Info: Superior National Forest campground with 9 first-come, first-served sites at $20 per night. Drinking water from pumps, vault toilets (outhouses), tables, and fire grates available. No water, sewer, or electrical hookups. Sites accommodate RVs and trailers, most suitable for vehicles under 24 feet. Pets allowed on leash. Maximum 9 people per site. Operated by Sawbill Canoe Outfitters concessionaire.
