Teklanika Campground
About this site
Teklanika River Campground is located at mile 29.1 on Denali Park Road in Denali National Park. It is the second largest campground in the park with 53 sites accommodating both tent and RV camping (RVs under 40 feet). The campground offers vault toilets, potable water (weather dependent), picnic tables, and fire grates at each site. No electrical, water, or sewer hookups are available. Amenities include an amphitheater where rangers give nightly talks on Denali-specific topics. The campground is remote with no showers or laundry facilities on-site. Vehicles must remain parked at their site; visitors can purchase bus passes to explore the park. A three-night minimum stay is required for those driving personal vehicles. The campground is typically open from late May through mid-September.
