About this site
This scenic rec site is located on the slopes above Tatla Lake set in an open grassland and aspen forest. The site is a popular destination for enjoying a picnic or going fishing, although the approach to the boat launch is somewhat steep and not suitable for large units. INDIGENOUS TERRITORY: Tatla Lake is situated within the traditional and unceded territory of the Tsilhqot'in (pronounced "sil-ko-teen") Nation. The Tsilhqot'in name for this place is "Tatl'ah".
