Tarryall Reservoir SWA

Tarryall Reservoir State Wildlife Area is a 711-acre protected area located southeast of Fairplay, Colorado, adjacent to Pike National Forest. The area surrounds a 175-acre reservoir at approximately 9,000 feet elevation. Camping is available in designated campgrounds with roughly 10 primitive campsites per location that are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, and well water. Fire rings have been removed; only gas fuel grills are permitted. A valid hunting or fishing license or SWA pass is required for entry. The area is popular for fishing, hunting, hiking, and wildlife viewing.
