Tarkington Trail Camp (also known as Tarkington Camp or Tarkington Campsite) is a designated primitive camping site on the Lone Star Hiking Trail in Sam Houston National Forest, located at mile marker 83.4-83.55 near Tarkington Bayou. Additional Info: - Accessible by hiking from trailheads such as TH15 or Trailhead #13 on FM 2666. - Situated 100 yards east of the trail.
