Taneum Campground
About this site
Taneum Campground is located along Taneum Creek near the site of a former CCC camp in Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. The picnic shelter was built by the CCC. Ponderosa Pine and Douglas Fir shade the area. The campground offers both tent and RV sites with first-come, first-served reservations. Access into the campground requires driving through Taneum Creek on a cement ford. The campground is walk-in only in June; once snow melt ends and water levels in Taneum Creek slow to summer lows, vehicle access is available. Open early June through Labor Day, weather dependent. Elevation: approximately 2,800 feet.
