Talkeetna River Park Campground is the only designated tent campground in Talkeetna, offering approximately 10 sites. Located within walking distance of downtown Talkeetna along the Talkeetna River, it provides a peaceful and convenient camping experience. The campground is a dry facility with no hookups and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Amenities include potable water, picnic tables, fire pits, an outhouse, and a bear-resistant trash container. The riverside location offers scenic views and easy access to downtown attractions, restaurants, and shops.
