Talapus Lake Backcountry Camping
About this site
Talapus Lake offers primitive backcountry campsites accessible by a moderate 2-mile hike from the Talapus Lake Trailhead in Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. There are approximately 14 designated sites on a first-come, first-served basis, each with a fire ring and picnic table. No toilets or drinking water are available; pack out all waste. A free wilderness permit is required for overnight camping, available at the trailhead. Trail closed to stock, bicycles, and motorized vehicles; dogs must be leashed. A Recreation Pass is required for trailhead parking.
