Takakkaw Falls Campground
About this site
Takakkaw Falls Campground is a walk-in, tent-only campground located at the end of Yoho Valley Road in Yoho National Park, offering spectacular views of Takakkaw Falls. It serves as the main trailhead for hikes to Laughing Falls, Twin Falls, Iceline, Whaleback, and Yoho Glacier. Wheelbarrows are available to transport gear from the parking lot approximately 500m away. Amenities include potable water, dry toilets, food storage, and fire pits. Reservations are available June 20 to September 16; otherwise first-come, first-served. A National Parks pass is required.
