This scenic site is the second of the Tacheeda Lakes rec sites, and is likely one of the most popular camping spots around PG. The in-site loop road provides easy access for larger vehicles. The site provides defined camping pads for 17 parties, tables, fire rings and 3 pit toilets. There is a concrete boat launch suitable for both car top and trailed boats. Avid anglers may have success catching wild stocks of rainbow trout, kokanee, and lake trout. Please note that the lake trout are catch and release only. Additional Info: This large scenic recreation site offers 17 sites with defined camping pads, picnic tables, fire rings, and 3 pit toilets. Easily accessible by 2WD vehicles with an in-site loop road suitable for larger RVs. Features two boat launches (one upgraded to concrete in 2011) for fishing rainbow trout, kokanee, and catch-and-release lake trout. First-come, first-served, free camping managed by Recreation Sites BC.
