Swiftwater Campground sits at 675 Swiftwater Park Road near Soldotna, offering 40 campsites along the Kenai River in Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. Managed by the City of Soldotna, it's surrounded by spruce with direct river access and fish-cleaning stations, featuring vault toilets and fire rings for an angler-friendly stay. Open May through September. Additional Info: Campsites include picnic tables and fire pits. Potable water is available at well houses. Firewood can be purchased. The park features more than 800 feet of elevated boardwalk and fishwalk platforms for river access without disturbing the riverbank. Dry camping only (no hookups). Some sites are wheelchair-accessible.
