SWIFT CREEK (Campground) Additional Info: Swift Creek Campground sits at over 8,000 feet elevation in Ashley National Forest near the confluence of Swift Creek and the Yellowstone River. A lovely waterfall is nearby. The campground is near the boundary of the High Uintas Wilderness, with a trailhead leading to alpine lakes. Fishing for brook, brown, and rainbow trout is available in the Yellowstone River. Restrooms are available. Potable water is not available. Pets must be leashed. Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Operates May-September.
