Sweetwater Guard Station Campsite 6 is one of the sites in the Sweetwater Guard Station Campground, a free BLM-managed site nestled at the base of the Wind River Mountains next to the Sweetwater River, with the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail nearby. The campground offers 3 walk-in campsites and 8 pull-in/drive-up sites (including 1 group site), each with picnic tables and fire rings. There is one accessible pit toilet, trash receptacles secured against bears, and no potable water or hookups. The site is first-come, first-served and accessible via improved dirt roads during summer months.
