Overview Situated on a bluff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, you will delight in watching the sunrise each morning as you enjoy your breakfast. The Sunrise House is a four-bedroom, one and one-half bathroom home that sleeps ten. You will find yourself minutes away from ocean beaches, ponds, trails, and the charming village of Wellfleet. This spacious, well-equipped home will make your stay at Cape Cod National Seashore memorable. Peak Season Nightly Rate: $970 Non-Peak Season Nightly Rate: $582 Refundable Security Deposit: $350 (per reservation) There is a mandatory 5-night minimum stay for reservations. If any questions please email caco_leasing@nps.gov to inquire. Recreation The Sunrise House is a very short walk to the public beach, with outstanding views of the ocean from the home's deck. If a 1.5-mile hike of medium difficulty to a local kettle pond is for you, then explore the nearby paths to Duck Pond. Explore beyond the beach and you will find the seashore is so much more. There are miles of walking and biking trails through pine forests, across sandy dunes, and alongside freshwater ponds. You can climb to the top of one of the many lighthouses and experience a piece of maritime history that helped our new nation grow and thrive. For the wildlife lover, there are opportunities to spot over 450 species of amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds, and mammals that make the seashore their home.
