Sunrise High Sierra Camp

Sunrise High Sierra Camp is one of Yosemite National Park's historic High Sierra Camps, located at 9,350-9,400 feet elevation on the John Muir Trail near Sunrise Peak, overlooking alpine meadows with views of Mt. Florence and Mt. Clark. The camp features nine tent cabins accommodating up to 34 guests with bunks (bring your own sleeping bags), family-style breakfasts and dinners, vault toilets, backcountry shower and laundry basins. Accessed by hiking 5-8 miles from Tuolumne Meadows or Tenaya Lake (no vehicle access). Reservations required via lottery system.
