Summit Lake Camping Area features several campsites around the shores of Summit Lake, a crystal clear alpine lake at 5,400 feet elevation reflecting Mount Rainier on calm days. The lake is accessed via Summit Lake Trail #1177 (2.5 miles from trailhead), within Clearwater Wilderness. Use established campfire rings; campfires prohibited within 0.25 mile of the lake. Dogs must be leashed. Wilderness regulations apply. Additional Info: Trailhead at end of Cayada Creek Road #7810 requires Recreation Pass. Vault toilets available at trailhead.
