Succor Creek State Natural Area lies in a deep, rocky canyon and is a remote haven for rock hounds and wildlife watchers. Primitive camping is available on both sides of the creek, with sites on the west side accessible by vehicle and walk-in sites on the east side. Amenities include vault toilets and picnic tables. No water, hookups, or cell service available. The Succor Creek Bridge provides vehicle access to east side campsites. Additional Info: Open year-round on a first-come, first-served basis. Popular for rockhounding thundereggs. High-clearance vehicles recommended on access roads.
