Strawberry Junction is a primitive backcountry campground in Mount San Jacinto State Park with 3 campsites at 8,000 feet elevation. Accessible only by hiking approximately 7 miles from the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Facilities include pit toilets (vault toilets); no water available. Pets are not allowed. Campfires prohibited; portable stoves only. Open year-round. Maximum occupancy per site: 15. State Park camping permit required ($5 per person).
