Strawberry Campground sits at 3,530 feet elevation in Plumas National Forest, offering 17 campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis. Located near Sly Creek Reservoir, the campground provides easy access to water-based recreation including fishing, swimming, boating, and waterskiing. The Mooreville Boat Ramp and a cartop boat launch are nearby attractions for anglers and boaters. The campground is set among mixed conifer forest with wild strawberries growing along nearby trails. Each site accommodates up to 6 people and 2 vehicles. OHV riding is popular in the surrounding area, though OHV use is prohibited within the campground itself. Standard amenities include picnic tables and fire rings at each site. This is bear country, and campers should follow proper food storage protocols. Pets are allowed but must be leashed and attended at all times. The campground enforces a 14-day maximum stay limit and honors Interagency Passes.
