overnight shelter located near the Appalachian National Scenic Trail and coincident Long Trail Additional Info: Stratton Pond Recreation Area features the Stratton Pond Shelter and Stratton View Shelter, both maintained by the Green Mountain Club on a first-come, first-served basis. Designated tent sites are available around the pond. Camping restricted to designated sites to protect the ecosystem. Access via hike from Stratton-Arlington Road trailhead parking.
