STORM CREEK LAKE CG (Campground) Additional Info: Storm Creek Lake Campground is part of Mississippi River State Park, a partnership between Arkansas State Parks and the U.S. Forest Service within the St. Francis National Forest. The campground underwent extensive renovation in 2020-2022, transforming from 14 primitive sites into a modern facility. It now features 11 AAA campsites with electricity, water, and sewer hookups, three walk-in tent campsites with electricity and shared water, and five camper cabins designed to resemble Mississippi River shipping containers. A modern four-unit bathhouse with hot showers serves the entire campground. Storm Creek Lake, created in 1938, provides opportunities for fishing, boating, and swimming. A swim beach operates from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. The park offers kayak, paddleboard, and boat rentals.
