About this site
This site is located on a beautiful open beach on the shores of Stony Lake. The gradually sloped beach makes for a good natural boat launch, and the beach also offers good opportunities for swimming. There is ample space for 4 camping parties, and the basic amenities of fire rings, tables and a pit toilet are provided. The lake offers good fishing opportunities for rainbow trout, kokanee and lake trout. Please note that set lines are not permitted in Stony Lake. Additional Info: Stony Lake North is 2WD accessible with six vehicle units and a cartop boat launch with good gravel beach. The recreation site is open year-round, though the access road may not be plowed in winter. Northern Pike are also present in the lake.
