Stony Lake East Recreation Site
About this site
This site is located on a beautiful open beach on the eastern shores of Stony Lake. The gradually sloped beach makes for a good natural boat launch, and the beach also offers good opportunities for swimming. There is ample space for 3 camping parties, and the basic amenities of fire rings, tables and a pit toilet are provided. The lake offers good fishing opportunities for rainbow trout, kokanee and lake trout. Please note that set lines are not permitted in Stony Lake. Additional Info: The site has 11 camping pads total. Northern Pike are also present in the lake. The access road may not be plowed in winter. The site is accessible by 2-wheel drive vehicles, though the main road is rough.
