Stoney Indian Lake is a designated backcountry campsite in Glacier National Park requiring a wilderness permit for overnight stays. Access is hike-in only along rough trails. Each site accommodates up to 4 people, with a maximum party size of 12 per campground. Amenities include pit toilets. Food storage and preparation areas are separate from tent sites. Leave No Trace principles apply. Additional Info: Wilderness camping available May 1 - Oct 31 with $10 non-refundable permit fee + $7 per person per night. Permits Nov 1 - Apr 30 are free.
