Stonehouse Trail Camp is a backcountry campsite accessed via a 1-mile hike from the Middle Fork Lytle Creek trailhead, involving approximately 700 feet of elevation gain and a rock hop across Lytle Creek. It is located just outside the Cucamonga Wilderness boundary in San Bernardino National Forest and offers shaded areas under trees with creek water nearby (treat as non-potable). No permit is required for camping at Stonehouse, unlike sites within the wilderness. Additional Info: Accessed via Stonehouse Cut-off Trail 6W02 or lower branch of Middle Fork Trail 6W01. Suitable for beginner backpackers with flat tent areas for several tents.
