Stone State Park Campground
About this site
Stone State Park Campground is located in a scenic wooded hollow surrounded by the unique Loess Hills terrain of western Iowa. Despite its proximity to Sioux City, the park offers rugged backcountry beauty and abundant wildlife. The campground features 30 sites including tent-only sites, standard non-electric sites, and sites with electric hookups, accommodating up to six people per site. A modern restroom and shower building serves all campers, and a large youth group campsite is available for organized groups. Additional Info: This campground is 100 percent reservable and accepts reservations April 1 - October 31. Each camp site has a fire ring and a picnic table. Most of the sites are shaded. The park provides over 15 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Fishing is available on the Big Sioux River or Turtle Lake.
