Stone Cabin Campground is located approximately 10 minutes from Buena Vista, Colorado, along the banks of the Arkansas River. It's also about 10 minutes from Granite, Colorado. Stone Cabin offers a unique camping experience right alongside the Arkansas River in a rugged, natural setting with clean campsites. The area features easy access to the river and privacy at secluded spots. Two portable toilets are available but well-maintained. No other official facilities; come prepared. Short drive to Buena Vista for hiking and outdoor activities. Additional Info: Dispersed camping area in Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area (AHRA) outside developed sites. Drive-in access with park next to site options.
