Stillwater State Park

Stillwater State Park is the largest campground in the Groton State Forest and is located along the shores of Lake Groton. A popular park for family vacations, Stillwater makes a great base camp for enjoying everything the Groton Forest has to offer. Excellent camping, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, biking, and picnicking. Canoe and kayaks are available to rent. Nature and interpretive programs are available at the nearby Groton Nature Center. 59 tent/RV sites, 19 lean-tos, restrooms with flush toilets, hot and cold running water and coin-operated showers. There is a swimming beach, boat launch and dock and a picnic pavilion for campers. Drinking water is available throughout the park. There is a RV sanitary dump station but there are no hookups.
