Stifel Creek Trailhead provides access to the 12,000-acre King Mountain Recreation Area. The area offers opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, hunting, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, and dispersed camping in an uncrowded setting. It is busiest during hunting season. No reservations; first-come, first-served. Contact the BLM Colorado River Valley Field Office for more information.
