Stemwinder Provincial Park Campground

Stemwinder Provincial Park is a small 3.6-hectare front-country campground located 5 km west of Hedley along Highway 3 in British Columbia, beside the Similkameen River. The park features 27 vehicle-accessible campsites (including one pull-through site) set among mature Douglas fir and Ponderosa pine trees on two levels. Amenities include pit toilets, water taps, garbage disposal, picnic tables, fire grills, and an information center. There are no RV hookups or shower facilities. The maximum RV length is 18 ft (5m). Campsites are reservable mid-April to mid-September; outside this window, sites are first-come first-served with limited services. The park is pet-friendly and offers recreational opportunities including fishing for mountain whitefish, hiking, biking, swimming, and wildlife observation. Firewood is available for purchase. Maximum stay is 14 days.
