Stanley Lake Campground

Stanley Lake Campground is a Forest Service campground located in the Sawtooth National Forest, situated on the hillside and shoreline of Stanley Lake. The campground features 17-19 reservable sites plus additional first-come-first-served sites, accommodating tents, trailers, and RVs up to 48 feet. Amenities include vault toilets, potable drinking water, and garbage service. Most campsites have partial shade and views of the lake, with each site equipped with a table, fire ring, and grate. A scenic overlook near sites 3 and 4 offers outstanding views of McGowan Peak. A boat ramp is located nearby. The campground is typically open from mid-May through mid-September at an elevation of 6,537 feet. Stanley Lake is a 170-acre alpine lake nestled beneath McGowan Peak in the Sawtooth Mountain Range.
