Fairly convenient location in the north metro Denver area (Westminster/ Broomfield/Boulder) that can serve as nice base camp to explore the area. Most sites have a nice view of the lake and the mountains, especially the Boulder Flatirons. Beautiful sunsets and a great spot for bird lovers. Bathrooms and campsites are generally clean and maintained. There is a lack of shade and protection from the wind. Plus, the sites are a bit close together. There are no hookups except for three spots (see website). Otherwise, nice place.
