STANDING INDIAN CAMPGROUND (Campground) Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $20 per night Double Site: $40 per night Additional Info: Standing Indian Campground is located in the Nantahala National Forest at 3,880 feet elevation at the headwaters of the Nantahala River. It offers 70 sites across 5 loops with reservations available via Recreation.gov and first-come-first-served options. Amenities include fire rings, lantern posts, picnic tables, drinking water, flush toilets, and showers. Open April 1 to October 30. Group site available at Kimsey Creek. Check-in 2pm, check-out 1pm, quiet hours 10pm-6am. Discounts for America the Beautiful Access and Senior Pass holders.
