Stafford Beach Campground is a backcountry tent-only campground in Cumberland Island National Seashore, accessible only by boat to Sea Camp dock followed by a 3.5-mile hike carrying all gear (no carts or wheeled coolers permitted). It features 10 designated sites in maritime forest near the beach, each with fire ring, grill, and food storage locker. Amenities include flush toilets, cold showers, and potable water spigots. Sites accommodate up to 6 people at $12 per night. Reservations required via Recreation.gov. Raccoons common; use food storage. No pets, no vehicle access, no stores on island.
