St. James Township Campground
About this site
St. James Township Campground is located on the northern end of Beaver Island, Michigan, on the North Bluff with beautiful views of Lake Michigan and world-class dark skies. The campground features 17 sites nestled in a breezy pine grove above the beach, including 12 rustic sites and 5 newer sites with electric service. Two sites are ADA-compliant with full concrete pads. Amenities include hand-pump well water, portable and pit toilets, and outdoor hot/cold shower stalls (one ADA-compliant). Picnic tables and fire rings are available at sites. The campground is easily accessible by car, less than a mile from the town of St. James and the harbor. Walk-ins are accepted when unreserved sites are available. The campground is open approximately May 1 – October 31.
