St. Francois State Park Campground
About this site
Basic Loop Additional Info: St. Francois State Park Campground sits along the Big River in southeast Missouri, about 2.5 miles from Bonne Terre. The campground divides into two distinct loops: an electric loop closer to the river that accommodates RVs up to 60 feet, and a basic loop set back toward the woods with more spacious, grassy sites. The park offers electric and non‑electric sites, a shower house with individual showers and restrooms, and opportunities for kayaking, fishing, swimming, and floating on the Big River. Several hiking trails start from the campground, including the Swimming Deer Trail, and the park also features equestrian trails and a large parking area for horse trailers.
