About this site
Spud Rock Spring Campground is the most remote backcountry site in Saguaro National Park, located at 7,400 feet elevation in the Rincon Mountains with 3 primitive campsites under pines and aspens. Access requires a strenuous 4.4-5.3 mile hike from Turkey Creek Trailhead. Seasonal water at Spud Rock Spring must be treated. Composting pit toilet available. Fires allowed with dead/down wood under regulations. No potable water, showers, hookups, or other developed amenities. Maximum 6 people per site, 10 day total stay.
