Designated dispersed camping along Spruce Creek Road #800 (FDR 800) in White River National Forest, past the Spruce Creek Trailhead parking lot. Seven sites available, recommended for 4WD high clearance vehicles. No restrooms or potable water available. Road closed to motor vehicles November 23 - May 20 or until dry. Additional Info: Located within Camp Hale-Continental Divide National Monument. Access via HWY 9 south of Breckenridge, turn onto Spruce Creek Road. Dispersed camping allowed only at designated sites.
