Spread Creek Dispersed Campground is located in Bridger-Teton National Forest near Moose, Wyoming, just outside Grand Teton National Park. It consists of approximately 14 numbered sites (1-13a) spread along a 4-5 mile stretch of Forest Road 30290. This free, first-come-first-served dispersed camping area offers spacious sites in grassy meadows near a creek with fire rings at many spots. Popular for its proximity to Grand Teton (across the road) and South Yellowstone entrance. 5-day stay limit. No amenities like toilets, drinking water, or hookups; pack in/pack out. Some larger sites for up to 40-foot rigs further back, but better for smaller vehicles. Potable water and dump station available at nearby Gros Ventre Campground (20 minutes away). Can be crowded in peak season; arrive early.
