Spire Rock Campground is located in scenic Gallatin Canyon on the Bozeman Ranger District of the Gallatin National Forest, in southwestern Montana. It is 26 miles south of Bozeman. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $26 per night Group Site: $50 per night Additional Info: The campground has 17 single-family sites and 1 group site (Site 12). It sits next to Storm Castle Creek at 5,600 feet elevation, surrounded by spruce and fir trees. Facilities include picnic tables, campfire rings, vault toilets, and trash pickup. Firewood available for $10/bundle. No drinking water, showers, or dump station. Roads and parking spurs are gravel. Bears frequent the area; store food properly. First two vehicles included in fee; $9/night per additional vehicle. Open 5/16-9/30 weather dependent. Reservations via Recreation.gov.
