SPANISH LAKE (Camping Area) Additional Info: Dispersed campsites are available along the Spanish Lake OHV Route with views of Rancheria Creek watershed. No camping within 100 feet of lakes, streams, trails, or meadows. A free campfire permit is required for wood fires, charcoal fires, or portable stoves. The OHV route ends at the John Muir Wilderness boundary; park and hike 0.25-0.75 miles to Little and Big Spanish Lakes. Wilderness permits required for overnight stays in the lakes area.
