Tucked away in the Umpqua Valley, South Umpqua Falls Campground is an open meadow campground surrounded by timber. This campground features 19 campsites. Nearby popular recreation sites, include South Umpqua Falls Picnic Area, where you can see the South Umpqua River cascade 15 feet over a wide slab of bedrock, check out Chinook salmon, and spot bald eagles flying overhead. Additional Info: The campground is open year-round with first-come, first-served availability. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Three vault toilets and grey water waste sumps are available. Maximum vehicle length is 35 feet. Campfires are allowed in developed fire pits when conditions allow. Maximum length of stay is 14 days.
