South Thorofare

About this site

South Thorofare is a designated backcountry campsite in Yellowstone National Park's remote southeast Thorofare region, accessible only by hiking. A backcountry permit is required year-round for overnight stays at one of the park's 293 designated sites. Campsite stays are limited to 1-3 nights with group sizes of 4-12 people; only one group allowed per site except for four sites.
